Breath of Fresh Art Fundraiser to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Join us as we raise money to fight Cystic Fibrosis. Charlotte area CF children have joined the effort by painting these great pieces. Each of these (and others) will be available for auction on Thursday, November 8th at Blue Restaurant, Uptown Charlotte. Natalie Bork is a contemporary artist based in Charlotte, in her sixth year of teaching art at Charlotte Country Day School. Nature and the Human Form provide the basic impetus for Natalie Bork’s compositions. Natalie’s artwork conveys the inner peace derived from the simple pleasures in life. Her color choices reflect the vibrancy of life itself while her subject matter suggests purpose and beauty. Natalie’s paintings are laced with symbolic circular imagery that coincides with the figural qualities of her paintings. SCOTT AVETT is the lead singer and co-founder of the Avett Brothers band. In addition to being a talented musician Scott is a talented artist. Brian Osborne is an accomplished photographer and educator. His current subject focus is on landscape and waterfall photography. In addition Brian leads a number of different photography education workshops in Charlotte, including basic and advanced lighting and editing workshops, basic and advanced camera operations.
